NCAA RECORD BOOK
I imagine that Jim Nantz has already told you this, but on Pg. 11 of the NCAA Record Book we learn that the largest "Deficit Overcome to Win" in a Final Four game was 22 points, by Duke. That was in 2001, when the Blue Devils trailed Maryland 39-17 with 6:55 to play in the first half. The Blue Devils, as you know, went on to win the national championship.
UNC was down 28 with 6:48 to play in the first half. They are now down by 6 with 5:05 to play.
But Kansas keeps on rolling, too. Now it's 69-61 after a pretty lay-up by Brandon Rush, the game-high scorer with 20 points.
