ROSE WILTING
Things even an idiot like me notices at halftime:
-- Derrick Rose is off his game. Three points, three turnovers. The Kansas defense is completely frustrating him. Different guards -- Collins, Chalmers, Robinson -- are taking turns on him and doing well.
-- Kansas owns the boards. The Jayhawks have outrebounded Memphis, 19-11. Joey Dorsey and Robert Dozier do not have a single offensive rebound for the Tigers. In fact Dorsey has zero rebounds.
-- KU is shooting 14-27, nearly 52%, thus far. Dunks will do that for you. Only one Jayhawk who's taken more than one shot is shooting below 50%, and that's Mario Chalmers, who is 3-7.
-- The Tiggers are shooting just 11-28, 39.3%. That's because they're taking jumpers and not skip-passing to the weakside effectively. Taggart, Rose and Anderson are a combined 2-13.
-- KU is outscoring Memphis 24-8 in the paint. It's just too easy for KU on offense.
