Tannenbaum: Pennington Out
On a conference call broadcast by NFL Network, Jets GM Mike Tannenbaum confirmed that the Jets will part ways with quarterback Chad Pennington on Friday.
Pennington is, obviously, the odd man out with the acquisition of Brett Favre.
Pennington to the Pack to back up Rodgers? Hmmmm. You could do a whole lot worse, Packers fans. Outside of Brady and Manning, Pennington may be the smartest QB in the league. Well, Garcia too.
