10-10 at the half

The Chargers appeared to take control with a nine-play, 89-yard drive, going ahead, 10-3 -- only to see the Colts come back and tie it with under a minute to go on a pick play that freed Anthony Gonzalez for a wide-open reception.

Not surprisingly for a tied game, the halftime stats are just about even: 53 rushing yards for Indy, 49 for San Diego; 133 passing yards for Indy, 148 for San Diego.

For the Colts, a loss would be, well, a loss.

For the Chargers, the season hangs in the balance.

Half time with Matt Millen... do you really want be to believe this guy knows anything about football.

Matt Millen and the Lions drafted 53 players during his tenure. The Lions did not keep a offensive line draft pick over a 4 year period from 2002 and the 2007 pick Manny Ramirez will more than likely never start in the NFL. That will make 6 consecutive years without a starting offensive linemen from the draft. Wonder why John Kitna is on his ass every week.

Lions draftees still with the team: 26. But it won't be long before Kevin Smith and Calvin Johnson leave. Winners don't stay with losers.

WONDERING HOW THIS COMPARES? The Indianapolis Colts will have 3 players on coming into the weekend who were NOT drafted by them or signed as a free agent out of college. The New England Patriots had 17 this year. The LIONS, 27.

And just to show you that there is someone dumber than William Clay Ford... just look to the guy heading NBC's in studio commentary team. There's Matt Millen... how can Bob Costas with a straight face say former Lions President and GM. Come on Bob!
