As a Giant fan, I have to admit I'll miss Dawkins. He brought so much passion to the game. Whether he was breaking Ike Hilliard in half on MNF in 2003 or laying out Shockey over the middle, or tearing the ball away from Brokeback Tiki Barber, he brought it every game. Seeing how much the game means to him made you respect him. He's slowing down a bit, but the eagles really crapped the bed on this one. He deserved at least one more year.

This is a brilliant move by the new crew and the Broncos needed a leader and BDAWK will be a perfect addition.

This isn't official, despite what this article says. No one else is calling it as official - not the NFL.com, NFL Network, The Denver Post, or any Philly media establishment. Dawkins just visited yesterday. While I certainly believe that Denver has submitted an offer, it just happened last night. There's no way Dawkins doesn't contact Philly and give it at least a day or two before committing. Until I see a press conference in Denver with Dawkins wearing a Broncos jersey, I won't believe anything these unreliable media outlets report.
