FEAR NOT, PFT PLANET
It has been a little while since Florio posted one of his semi-regular PFT state of the website posts, so I thought I'd try to clear up any confusion for readers again.
Profootballtalk has not been swallowed by a hostile takeover of corporate overlords. We're just letting him crash here temporarily while he waits for his shipment of hamsters to arrive and his servers are back up and running.
Look, we are huge fans of Florio; that's why we are happy to help him out. (Not to mention the traffic.) But we are also friends, and hope for everyone's sake the real PFT is back up and running as soon as possible. Then we'll all have the true rumor mill back, and you won't have to read anything else by me. Everybody wins.

I think I like the NBCsports blog better than PFT... I might just stay and watch your couch once PFT gets evicted.
Thanks to NBC for helping PFT and all the loyal fans. I will even promise to check out an NBC show that I normally wouldn't.

PFT? Whats that? I've already added the NBC Blog website to my favs, will just check it now instead. I used to be good for at least a dozen hits a day on PFT but the last 2 weeks have been such an annoyance I believe I'll find another NFL news website. PFT was kinda getting out of hand anyways.
C'mon, Florio! You amateur. We have a hamster the size of a Buick down here at the Zoo in Wilmington, DE.
Part of the courting process.. see how the fans react to the idea of PFT being on NBC. NBC seeing if traffic drops or the users stop visiting. This happens just before a buyout. The number? $7 million but Florio wants $15 million.
