REPORT: WARNER TO VISIT SAN FRAN
Free-agent quarterback Kurt Warner is taking it up a notch.
Since no one believes (including the Cardinals) that he'd actually leave the Cardinals and sign with another team, Warner is making a visit.
According to Matt Maiocco of the Santa Rosa Press-Democrat, Warner plans to check out the 49ers, perhaps on Monday.
Per Maiocco, some in the San Fran organization think that the team has a realistic chance to swipe the quarterback of the 2008 NFC champions. Others believe (as do we) that the Niners are the equivalent of that girl you went out with in high school in order to make your ex-girlfriend jealous in the hopes she'd reconsider her official position that you're a hipster doofis.
Then again, it could be that G.M. Scot McCloughan has agreed to participate in the charade as a favor to Warner's agent, Mark Bartelstein, who desperately needs to recapture the leverage Warner squandered with his constant "I'll play for the Cardinals or no one" routine. Even if the Niners don't land Warner, Bartelstein will be indebted to McCloughan -- and McCloughan would be able to seek a return favor at some point in the future.

"Hipster Doofis"? This just in: Florio is old.
I'd say Mr Florio is spot on.
I hear that the Boncos wan to trade Cutler. If we let Warner go I say bring in Jay.
you know I understand these guys trying to get as much as you can when you can but for a guy who is 38 and most likely won't be playing at high level for too much longer.. Most of these athletes are in denial about how much longer they can continue at a high level. If I was the cards I would call warners bluff and tell him to go to the niners who have no receivers and see how he performs in San fran. Warner are really that greedy that gods telling you that in order for you to play in Arizona or the next two years that it's going to take 30 million not 20 million to stay.. Give me a break...
Visiting a division rival to boost your market value is only hurting the Cardinals organization. If this results in a bigger paycheck for Warner, it helps Warner in his pocketbook, hurts the Cardinals in their ability to sign other/more players, and therefore helps the 49'ers by hurting their division foe. It's a no lose situation for the 49'ers...they either get a slim shot at Warner or falsely push his market "value" up and force the Cards to spend more money. But to shop yourself to a division rival does not speak well for Warner. At least find an AFC team to help you play your games.
If this is just a charade, there is something in it for the 49ers to play along.
They can drive up the price on a division rival. If it truly is an inevitability that Warner will re-sign with the Cardinals, why not?
If you're in not good state and have got no cash to move out from that, you will require to receive the home loans. Just because that should help you emphatically. I get commercial loan every single year and feel myself fine just because of it.
