I know I'm not alone when I ask the question,"Why, oh my, do we have to keep putting up with enberg and collins?" Never informative about anything regarding real tennis...and how bout that big babe tennis bit on espn the other day. i wish i could just turn the sound down and listen to the bbc radio feed. Oh wait! That would mean we would actually have to be seeing the matches that really matter in live time...and we wouldn't get to see all those wonderful enbergian montages.

Why does NBC broadcast at the same time in all time zones when to do so delays the broadcast of live tennis for 3 hours on the west coast. Not only that, they have somehow been able to prevent even wimbledon.org from live streaming. NBC, you hear it over and over and yet you are apparently deliberately and stubbornly deaf to the complaints of thousands of fans our west. You just don't care. I'm glad that even though you do delay, by the time you start broadcasting, ESPN comes back on line as well competing directly with you (huh??)... your 20th century programming business model just doesn't work for me, or many others, and we are all finding each other on the internet, so in those famous television words, please, stand by, you will be hearing from us...

It isnt' just fans out West, Larry. It's the entire country. I'm in the Central time zone and we, too, are deprived of ANY LIVE TENNIS. What NBC shows here has already been completed and the results known by the time they start showing it. It's ridiculous. They make ESPN sign off at 10 am with their actual live coverage, and then commence showing their "taped live" coverage - which has got to be the greatest manipulation of verbiage in modern times - 2 hours later when everything is done and dusted. Pathetic. Go to FCC.ORG, scroll down and on the left side of the page there is a place you can complain and help end NBC's monopoly on both Wimbledon and the French Open.
