Watch Jam-Up Week

At one point during the 4th season of High Stakes Poker, Phil Hellmuth gleefully commented to the other players that they were playing in a jam-up game, and Jamie Gold immediately agreed.  The reason was because the action was loose, chips were flying, and the players were gambling.  While neither Hellmuth nor Gold is playing in this week’s match on Poker After Dark, viewers can expect similar action, as the 6 players participating all know a thing or two about playing aggressively and/or not being afraid to move chips, and as such this promises to be one of the most talked about matches of the season.

That reminds me of the time I was at the ole' corral and Lucas McGinty came and challenged everyone there to a real humdinger of a grape stomping challenge, luckily I had packed my trusty grape stomping boots in old Betsy. See Old Betsy is what I called my 1932 Ford Model T. That was a good car it was, but when I asked for a red car, they told me all they had was black! I wanted the red car to match my socks that my wife got me for christmas that year. She got them at Macy's which happened to be where we met when she was still in High School and I was working as a department store Elf. I slipped her my number just before my shift was over. I had to leave that night to go to my cousins bachelor party at Legends Bar and grill on 182nd street in the Bronx. How did I get here. What were we talking about? Well you should just know I love me some Croquet.
