
2009 WSOP update: Main Event - Day 1c
The third day of poker's biggest event begins with 1,696 players competing.
On Day 1c, the Chip leader is Joe Cada (187,000).
Big names knocked out: Daniel Negreanu, Evelyn Ng, Annie Duke, Tom McEvoy, JJ Liu, Marcel Luske and David Singer.
Big names with big stacks: Jeff Lisandro (145,000) and Joe Hachem (87,000).
In other no-so shocking news... Phil Hellmuth arrived two hours late carried, dressed as Julius Caesar, and flanked by painted female gladiators, was carried to his table in a grand entrance.
