Mary Carillo and John McEnroe should watch the prematch interview with Petra Kvitiva again. She responded that she didn't think she could win the championship then said "maybe I can lose to Serena. No I don't think so. " I think it was a communication issue and that what she meant was to say for a second time was that she didn't think she could win. They said that she was haughty. I don't think so.
I will not be watching the women's final.
Serena Williams should have had a one-year suspension because of her behavior last year. SHe faced a minor ($25k) fine. That's about one hour's pay for her---not enough for her to get the message that she in not a nice person and that she is not entitled to insult referees and behave like a guttersnipe on world t.v. Can hardly wait for her to retire so I can take some interest in the game again.
